Glentel Engineers and Product Specialists are all current with the latest product offerings in their specialised fields and therefore able to offer expert and trustworthy product recommendations and services. In engineering a customer solution an integrated approach has often been successfully pioneered utilising testing facilities in the Engineering Laboratory in Edmonton.

This system solution approach continues to grow with integrated product solutions for clients in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and Ontario. Glentel can provide turn-key wireless systems for SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) and data applications utilizing a variety of wireless products in integrated RTU (remote terminal unit) applications. Such systems provide data acquisition from remote sites by relaying information back to the host site. Action can then be taken through integrated control devices and sensors to control the remote sites and relay the necessary information back in order to effect required changes. Glentel-developed systems have included those used for monitoring waterflow and for transmission of oil and gas through pipelines.

This system approach has been expanded to include integrated fleet management solutions for EMS and Municipal applications. Glentel can provide turn-key wireless fleet management solutions utilizing selected mobile data terminals and software products for these unique applications. These systems provide accurate monitoring of vehicle activities by relaying information over various terrestrial and satellite networks to the host application where vehicle location, sensor data, and other activities can be monitored and reported.
