P25 is an exciting new ‘generic’ digital radio system that is completely changing how police, fire and ambulance radio systems are designed and implemented.

This P25 technology uses advanced digital technologies and applies them to two-way radio voice communication systems. The P25 standard addresses inter agency interoperability, open protocols to lower costs, safety and training, spectrum efficiency i.e. 2004 narrow band changes.
