Our Glentel Professional Services team offers comprehensive implementation services for all of our products and integrated solutions to ensure they are implemented effectively and they meet your expectations. Glentel invests the time to understand your requirements and determine how our solutions can fulfill you needs. With this approach, specifications, cost and timelines can be effectively managed.
A key benefit of working with Glentel’s implementation team is the proven project management process that is used along with a staff of skilled implementation specialists to reduce risk and manage projects to on-time delivery within budget.
Glentel utilizes the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) process as a foundation of the implementation service.
WBS is a good tool for developing accurate project cost estimates, from the bottom up, based upon each of the implementation tasks. The more detailed the WBS, the more accurate the estimate. A WBS task could be as simple as a 10-day conversion process. Or, it could be more detailed, identifying all the deliverables required for installation or conversion.
We know that each implementation project is different and take your individual organization’s needs into account.
Our methodology includes (but is not limited to) the following: • Project Resources - a Glentel Project Implementation Specialist who oversees the technical team and business teams. • Defined Roles and Responsibilities - The roles and responsibilities for Project Implementation Specialist, and various team members are clearly defined to ensure a seamless process. • Project Implementation Plan - Glentel will develop a detailed project management plan — developed jointly between our teams — to serve as a master plan for the entire project. The plan includes schedules for each project phase. • Project Communication - Communication is crucial for a successful implementation. As such, we schedule weekly progress meetings, formal monthly meetings and project milestone reviews as well as rely on voice-mail distribution systems and email to keep all team members up to date. • Problem / Issue Resolution - For each outstanding item that may jeopardize the project, we log as much issue information as possible and review them at progress review meetings. • Validating / Approving Deliverables - The Project Implementation Specialist approves all schedules of deliverables. • Risk Management - Glentel employs a proactive risk management process to identify risks up front and resolve them as quickly as possible. • Implementation Phases - During implementation, our process includes site readiness, network review, equipment install, functional analysis/review, system configuration, training, testing and follow-up.
The combination of strong project management processes and a skilled staff are critical to the successful delivery of projects. For more information on what Glentel Professional Services can do for you, contact us at branch near you today. |
